Sedimented black pigments on folded canvas, concrete
150 cm x 100 cm (each)
Canvases are folded following geometric line pattterns dividing the canvas space in identical squares, turning them into three dimensional spaces. The canvases are then bathed in a solution of pigment residue gathered from old paint materials. As the liquid evaporates, the pigments sediment in the folds of the canvas, leaving only the visual memory of the previous folding. The canvases are then stretched and displayed on a concrete base.
